Music Ministry
“To sing is to pray twice.” – Saint Augustine
The music ministry at Immaculate Conception Church provides cantors and choir support for congregational singing during weekend masses and on holy days. We currently offer two choirs during the months of September through May: a children’s choir (opened to those who can read through 13 years old) and an adult choir (open to anyone 14 years and older). We have both beginners and seasoned singers in our choirs and we welcome anyone who is interested in singing with us! Any instrumentalists interested in sharing their musical talent with us, or singers interested in cantoring or becoming a part of one of our choirs should email our music director, Kaleigh Mattson: kmattson@ics1.org
Please consider joining with us to create a “joyful sound unto the Lord.”
IC is looking for children, teens, and adults to join our music ministry. Consider sharing your gifts as a cantor or musician (training is available). We have a musician apprentice program for young people who would like to get involved in weekend Masses. Our choir season for 2026-2027 will run October through April this year. Age 5-13 are welcome to participate in our children's choir and ages 14-adult are welcome to join our adult choir. Please contact Kaleigh Mattson with any questions: kmattson@ics1.org
